Church History Night: Athanasius of Alexandria
A casual evening to learn and discuss the influence of an early church father, and how his battles continue today.
This year marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicea, in which the early church confronted the heresy of Arianism. Athanasius was a church leader involved in the council and its aftermath.
Whether you are a history/theology buff, or have no clue about the stories of the early church, you are invited to join us for an informal lecture and discussion.
